Build the intelligence layer for renewable energy

We’re building the platform the energy transition runs its numbers on. Join us early.

VALUES

What we hold ourselves to

Deep thinking

We sit with complex problems until they’re truly understood: first principles over fashion, rigour over rush.

Harmony

We work as one team, across people, disciplines, and machines, and let the best answer win, wherever it comes from.

Execution with focus

We pick the problems that matter and see them through. Momentum comes from finishing well, not starting often.

Making hard things happen

We chose a demanding industry on purpose. When something matters, we find the way to ship it.

OPEN ROLES

We’re hiring

  • Competitive salaryPaid at market, with meaningful equity.
  • Lean teamYou own whole modules, and clients are using them within weeks.
  • Frontier toolingThe newest models, solvers and automation, because the problems need them.
OPEN ROLE

Forward-deployed engineer

Bengaluru · Hybrid

An engineering role with a customer's problem in front of you rather than a ticket. You solve it using the product, then build whatever the product turned out to be missing. The work runs across the app, the models underneath it, the AI tooling, and the infrastructure the whole thing sits on.

WHAT YOU’D DO

  • Take a customer problem end to end, solve it with the product, and build the piece that should already have been there.
  • Move across the stack as the work demands: backend, data, the front end, and the models underneath.
  • Build the AI tooling, both what we use internally and what ships.
  • Own how your work gets deployed and what it runs on. It is not handed to somebody else.
  • Sit in the calls where what you built gets used, and act on what did not hold up.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You write production Python, and you are fine in a TypeScript front end when that is what the work needs.
  • You take an ambiguous problem to done without waiting for a spec.
  • You pick up a new domain quickly. You do not need to know energy; you do need to want to.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Building with LLMs beyond prompt calls: agents, tools, evaluation.
  • Data science, forecasting or optimisation.
  • Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI, or data orchestration.
  • Energy or climate exposure. Not required, and nobody here started with it.
ABOUT EARTHSYNC

EarthSync builds the software the energy transition runs its numbers on.

That is the ES Suite. ES Solve models a project and proves it pays. ES Source runs the procurement and compares every offer like for like. ES Operate forecasts prices and follows the market once the asset is live. One data model underneath all three, with optimisation, forecasting and market data doing the actual work.

OPEN ROLE

Energy & policy expert

Bengaluru · Hybrid

Power markets, PPAs, storage economics, and the regulation sitting behind all three. You would decide what our models are allowed to claim, and be the person who notices when a number is confidently wrong.

WHAT YOU’D DO

  • Own the assumptions inside the models: tariffs, open access, waivers, obligations, deviation settlement, and what a commission ruled last quarter.
  • Translate regulation into what actually changes in the product, and how quickly it has to change.
  • Check outputs before they reach a customer. A plausible number that is wrong costs more than an obvious error.
  • Write the market analysis customers read, and shape what the forecasting product should be telling them.
  • Sit with engineering while a model gets built, so an assumption ends up in the code and not in a document nobody reopens.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have worked inside power markets: at a developer, a utility, a consultancy, a regulator, or a trading desk.
  • You can explain why a number is wrong rather than only that it is.
  • You are comfortable being the person who says the model is not ready.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Published work: a paper, a report, a market note somebody acted on.
  • Storage and hybrid economics specifically.
  • Exposure to US wholesale markets alongside India.

OPEN ROLE

Go-to-market & Founder's Office

Bengaluru · Hybrid

Own the pipeline: who we talk to, what it is worth, and how we describe what we do. The founder's office half is real work rather than a title, and it flexes around whatever the pipeline needs that week.

WHAT YOU’D DO

  • Build and run the pipeline end to end, from who is worth talking to through to what closes.
  • Write the outbound, the decks and the follow-ups. Most of this job is writing.
  • Sit in customer calls and turn what you hear into something product can act on.
  • Keep the CRM true, so the number in the board meeting is the number.
  • Take the founder's office work of the month: a board pack, a partnership, a hiring push, whatever is currently the constraint.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have sold or fundraised into technical buyers who ask hard questions.
  • You write clearly and quickly, and you can tell when your own copy is padding.
  • You would rather carry a number than a list of activities.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Energy, climate or infrastructure exposure.
  • Early-stage experience, where you built the process rather than inherited it.

OPEN ROLE

Power systems & SCADA engineer

Bengaluru · Hybrid

You have run SCADA, EMS or historians, and you write code. Today the work is dispatch and market economics. The real-time layer arrives as Operate moves closer to the plant, and the decisions that make it cheap or expensive are being made now.

WHAT YOU’D DO

  • Own how plant and market data is modelled: the asset model, the time series, and the timezone handling that will not survive sub-hourly plant data unless somebody gets it right early.
  • Build the dispatch and scheduling logic, and the checks that catch a bad schedule before it is submitted.
  • Bring operational reality into a product built mostly by people who have not run a control room.
  • Shape the architecture for telemetry before it hardens around assumptions that do not hold.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have run or built on SCADA, EMS or historians for a real fleet.
  • You write code, Python most usefully, and are happy in a codebase rather than only a specification.
  • You have opinions about data quality from having been burned by it.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Forecasting or scheduling against a wholesale market.
  • Experience across both plant operations and market-facing systems, which is the overlap we are really looking for.
